Returns & Refunds Policy – Kathmandu Gifts

At Kathmandu Gifts, we strive to deliver fresh, high-quality gifts to your loved ones in Nepal. Since many of our products are perishable (cakes, flowers, food items), our returns and refunds policy is designed to be fair while protecting both our customers and our business.


1. Returns

  • Due to the perishable nature of cakes, flowers, and food hampers, returns are not accepted once the order has been delivered.

  • For non-perishable items (gift hampers, accessories, keepsakes), returns are accepted only if the product is damaged, defective, or incorrect.

  • Customers must notify us within 24 hours of delivery to request a return for eligible products.


2. Refunds

  • Full Refunds will be provided in the following cases:

    • The order is canceled at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery.

    • The product ordered is unavailable and no suitable replacement is agreed upon.

  • Partial Refunds may be offered if:

    • An item is missing from a hamper or package.

    • The product delivered is not as described, but the customer agrees to keep it.

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.


3. Order Cancellations

  • Orders can be canceled at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery for a full refund.

  • Same-day orders or orders canceled less than 48 hours before delivery cannot be refunded once processing has started.


4. Incorrect or Failed Deliveries

  • If delivery fails due to incorrect address details provided by the customer, we cannot offer a refund.

  • If delivery fails due to our error, we will provide a full refund or redelivery free of charge.

6. Exceptions

Personalized items (photo cakes, engraved gifts, custom hampers) are non-refundable and non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or incorrect.
